Equipment: MW-4260 + SPE-26（diameter:26mm）+ Bypass-Option and two valves（1 upper and 1 lower valve of the sensor to regulate the filling and emptying）.

SAP Powder is falling from the main pipe through the upper pipe into the sensor by cavity. The upper valve is regulating the filling of the sensor which is equipped with a filling and a temperature sensor. The filling sensor gives the signal to the upper valve when to close, and a few seconds after the lower valves open to empty the sensor by an additional air flow（by pressure, max. 1.5bar, better less pressure）. If the customer has an air pressure of e.g. 7bar they need a reducer in order not to have a higher air pressure than 1.5bar inside the sensor. To guarantee a good way of emptying the sensor the lower valve should be larger than 26mm.

With this equipment we can make every 30 seconds measurements（filling – measuring – emptying）. If there´s less product inside the pipe（e.g. 25%）, it might take more time to fill the sensor. You might be able to accelerate the filling process by enlarging the “funnel” between the main pipe and the connecting pipe to the sensor.

For the SAP Measurements（we can calibrate the moisture as well as the（bulk-）density）we have developed a special crystal glass inner tube of the sensor in order to avoid abrasions during the production flow and the emptying. We have chosen（until now）the bypass-option（dia. 26mm）, as all SAP-Manufacturers we are in touch with would also like to calibrate and to measure the（bulk-）density of the SAP-Powder. The lower connection pipe should be bigger than 26mm in order to ensure a smooth flow.

We know that the SAP granules are highly abrasive, our inner tubes are made of crystal glass, and they are working very well and have no any abrasion issue.

For the measurements with a tubular sensor（SPE-26）dust is no issue and has no impact on the measurements. The dust issue is not impacting any measurements for the bypass solution（viscosity, or flowability needs to be checked with the bypass solution）.

Our existing customer in SAP industry, and its detailed instrument model, installation site or installation station, and its configuration.

臺(tái)塑Formosa：We have 4 Installations（3 in Taiwan and 1 in Ningbo）, Installation location: after the dryer （moisture range: 3.0-3.6%）. The Installations have been done 2-3 years ago (the first one 3 years ago and the other ones during the following year, two years ago). They have tested different technologies and no other method was working nor giving reliable measurement results. And Formosa has confirmed us the same points that other measurement technologies are not working. Probably it is due to the shape of the single granule and that the moisture is more inside the granule and less outside. Furthermore, the density measurements are also an added value for the customer.

BASF：We provide the solution for their lab with MW 4300, and a process analyzer（MW-4260）and a lab sensor（SLH-40B）in Germany, Brazil, Thailand and Belgium. They automize their lab completely and make the lab measurements with a barcode-reader and a robot which will fill and empty the sensor with the samples  automated. In case of BASF（automated）it is also no problem.

As to the laboratory solutions, we will probably have 3 calibration curves, maybe 4, as the samples come from many different process steps, so with a wide moisture range between 0.5% and 17%.

Evonik：The customer is satisfied with our lab measurement in their laboratory.

Honestly, I don´t know the exact particle size. The samples of all manufacturers that I have seen（BASF, Formosa, Evonik, LG Chem）were “fine granule”. In the process we are measuring in the range 3-4% moisture content. In the laboratory we have measured（with different calibrations）between 1-17%.

Generally, the granule size has no impact on our moisture measurements. All manufacturers were very interested in the moisture measurements（independently from the density）, and some of them required specifically the calibration of the（bulk）density. The density measurements are possible to calibrate in the process. Also, in the laboratory, but we have to keep in mind that the customer needs to ensure the same filling procedure of the beakers for every measurement when he wants to make lab-density measurements.

Since SAP is abrasive product, the inner tube which touch product is glass tube. And they have to use soft brush for cleaning as maintenance, but not any metal tools.

安裝調(diào)試和驗(yàn)收：

設(shè)備到貨前1個(gè)月，廠家向買方提供“實(shí)驗(yàn)室安裝要求手冊”，提出實(shí)驗(yàn)室環(huán)境、電源、氣源、管道連接等具體安裝條件要求。

儀器到貨后，買方具備必要的實(shí)驗(yàn)室安裝條件，廠家在接到買方安裝需求后，5個(gè)工作日內(nèi)派設(shè)備廠家工程師到達(dá)買方現(xiàn)場，對設(shè)備進(jìn)行免費(fèi)安裝和調(diào)試。

現(xiàn)場開箱驗(yàn)收應(yīng)達(dá)到如下要求：所有設(shè)備的外觀、噴漆、電纜的外殼和接頭完好，銘牌正確；所有設(shè)備的附件、備件必須完整、齊全，標(biāo)識(shí)清楚。

買方嚴(yán)格按照技術(shù)協(xié)議書的要求進(jìn)行驗(yàn)收。廠家提供測試用的設(shè)備和工具，供買方技術(shù)人員在驗(yàn)收時(shí)使用。設(shè)備驗(yàn)收合格后簽署驗(yàn)收報(bào)告。

設(shè)備培訓(xùn)：

1）廠家負(fù)責(zé)免費(fèi)為買方的分析人員和技術(shù)人員進(jìn)行現(xiàn)場培訓(xùn)，培訓(xùn)內(nèi)容包括但不限于設(shè)備儀器結(jié)構(gòu)、工作原理、操作注意事項(xiàng)、方法建立、配件更換以及維護(hù)和維修；培訓(xùn)應(yīng)使最終用戶操作人員能夠獨(dú)立使用設(shè)備設(shè)置參數(shù)制備樣品、會(huì)進(jìn)行維護(hù)保養(yǎng)為止。

2）廠家根據(jù)最終用戶的要求進(jìn)行定期回訪，對維修人員進(jìn)行專業(yè)儀器維修培訓(xùn)，并對儀器的常見故障的診斷及處理提出建議。

售后服務(wù)：

1）廠家保證提供的設(shè)備在原生產(chǎn)工廠已做好整機(jī)測試，并達(dá)到買方要求的技術(shù)條件。

2）儀器安裝調(diào)試驗(yàn)收合格后，廠家提供壹年的免費(fèi)保修期，并提供儀器保修期外的維修、技術(shù)服務(wù)。在保修期內(nèi)，免收維修費(fèi)，廠家對除易損件外的非人為損壞導(dǎo)致故障的零部件免費(fèi)更換。

在保修期外，買方應(yīng)根據(jù)實(shí)際情況支付維修費(fèi)和必要的零部件費(fèi)用，廠家須對儀器提供終身的技術(shù)支持。

3）廠家須提供如下維修響應(yīng)服務(wù)：在保修期內(nèi)，接到買方電話或書面報(bào)修后，應(yīng)在4小時(shí)內(nèi)答復(fù)并提出處理方案；如不能解決問題，廠家應(yīng)在24小時(shí)內(nèi)到現(xiàn)場給予維修服務(wù)。
