背景介紹：This gene encodes a member of the latrophilin subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR). Latrophilins may function in both cell adhesion and signal transduction. In experiments with non-human species, endogenous proteolytic cleavage within a cysteine-rich GPS (G-protein-coupled-receptor proteolysis site) domain resulted in two subunits (a large extracellular N-terminal cell adhesion subunit and a subunit with substantial similarity to the secretin/calcitonin family of GPCRs) being non-covalently bound at the cell membrane. Latrophilin-1 has been shown to recruit the neurotoxin from black widow spider venom, alpha-latrotoxin, to the synapse plasma membrane. 3.由于細胞內含抗原量不同，所以染色強度不一。如果細胞之間染色強度相同，常提示其反應為非特異性

4.陽性細胞染色定位于單個細胞，且與陰性細胞相互交雜分布；而非特異性染色常不限于單個細胞，而是累及一片細胞。

5.切片邊緣、刀痕或褶皺區域，壞死或擠壓的細胞區，膠原結締組織等，常表現為相同的陽性染色強度，不能用于判斷陽性。
