懸浮體測定粘度后攪拌1min，將一個計時器定在7.5min，另一個定在30min。將泥漿樣品倒入濾失儀中，至液面到頂緣的距離在13mm以內，放在濾紙，把濾失儀裝配好。計時，擰緊泄壓閥，調整調壓器，在30s內加上700±35kpa的壓力。
7.5min后，除去懸掛在排液嘴上的液體。用干燥量筒收集濾液。30min后，取下懸掛在排液嘴上的液體并拿開量筒，斷開壓力，記下從7.5min到30min所收集的液體體積。
四、TCGB-29型鈉基膨潤土防水毯濾失量結果計算：
濾失量按（6）式計算
FL=2·V2……
（6）式中：FL---30min懸浮液濾出濾液，ml；
V2--濾液體積，ml。
