PSP106型色譜儀符合GB/T13610-2003《天然氣的組成分析氣相色譜法》廣泛應用于燃氣具生產企業、燃氣計量檢測部門、科研、環保和配氣等行業。
天然氣是由多種組分構成的混合物。天然氣的組成是指天然氣中所含的組分及其在可檢測范圍內的相應含量。在檢測時通常所指的組成是指天然氣中甲烷、乙烷等烴類組分和N2、CO2等常見的非烴組分的含量。盡管天然氣還含有如硫化物、水等雜質，但如果不特別說明，在組成分析時并不檢測這些組分。在商品天然氣的組分分析中，由于組分相對穩定，只要求對Cl至C6的烴類組分進行簡單分析(也稱常規分析)。
目前，我國針對天然氣組分分析的氣相色譜法，制定的標準《GB/T13610一2003天然氣的組成分析一氣相色譜法》采用外標法，檢測器使用熱導檢測器(TCD)。我們需要通過氣相色譜儀分析天然氣的組分，并根據組分來計算其密度，壓縮因子，發熱量等。
